Fleet Air Arm Museum, RNAS Yeovilton

We had a Father's Day visit to the Fleet Air Arm Museum outside Yeovil.

The museum is located with the grounds of RNAS Yeovilton.

The Concorde pictured is '002' was was used solely for testing and development. It was flown between 1969 and 1976.

I think this is where the Ram Air Turbine is. It is deployed if there has been a power failure and generates electrical power.
